    Position Summary:  A cashier is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service in accordance with Company policy, processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, show proficiency in cash register and credit card operations and safeguarding company assets.


    • Ensure that each customer receives exceptional service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting every customer, handling all customer concerns with patience and professionalism, and have a solid understanding of the products that are carried.
    • Operate register, scanner and scales to process customer orders.
    • Maintain an awareness of all sales, promotions and product codes.
    • Accurately and efficiently ring or scan all customer merchandise.
    • Accurately maintain cash and credit card receipts.
    • Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work station.
    • Accurately count and verify daily receipts.


    • Ability to communicate with customers in both verbal and written format.
    • Ability to read, count and write accurately.
    • Ability to operate all equipment required to perform the essential functions of the job.
    • Must have 1 year previous cashier experience.
    • Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time and handle merchandise up to 50lbs.
    • Ability to work varied hours to include nights, Saturday’s and holidays as needed.
